Space
Patrol was the biggest SF phenomenon of its time. During its heyday
it is brodcast 3 times a week. The stories are set in 30th century
and involves the adventures of Commander Buzz Corey of the Space
Patrol. The Space Patrol is hedquartered on the artificial planet
Terra, midway beetween Earth and Mars. From there the Patrol enforces
law and order throughout the solar system - and sometimes the
galaxy. The rocketship is the sleek Terra V, which looks like
an enlogated Flash Gordon dart-type ship, with long
tapered fins that start from a third of the way down the side.
Like the Gordon rockets, the Terra V took off and landed horizontally.
