Two
spaceship models of similar design were used in this - the last
of the Rocketman serials. Once again, Martians are invading Earth.
Aliens Marex, Roth, and Narb (Leonard Nimoy!) travel to our sphere
with the hopes of using a well-placed hydrogen bomb to blast the
planet out of orbit. Larry Martin and his Inter-Planetary Patrol
interfere, and end up saving the world from destruction. Both
rocketships took off, landed and flew horizontally, and came armed
with powerful ray cannons. In chapter 12, the good guys shoot
down their opponents.
